You could try Beta 3 that allows for custom CLI parameters, and then set the profile explicitly vs. automatically. |

Maybe you could provide your actual ffmpeg commandline yo uare testing with and the actual ffmpeg output? So the error that I was referring to was when I tried to add the "libx264 -crf 22 -preset medium -profile main" setting to the plexcleaner.json file. I ran the following C:\Users\Kevin\Desktop\PlexCleaner\win-x64\Tools\FfMpeg\bin>ffmpeg -i "\192.168.3.2\TV_Shows\Prison Break\Season 1\Prison Break - S01E01 - Pilot Bluray-1080p.mkv" -c:v libx264 -crf 22 -preset medium -profile:v main -c:a ac3 -c:s copy -f matroska "C:\Users\Kevin\Desktop\Test.tmp" Below is the output with an error ffmpeg version 6.0-full_build-www.gyan.dev Copyright (c) 2000-2023 the FFmpeg developers It seems that you can not convert 10 bit to 8 bit with x264, this might explain the error I was getting before when using the plexcleaner.json file. I will test it against other media to see if it works on those that are not already 10bit. I will have to try something else for these files. |

I replaced the -profile with the -vf format=yuv420p and it seems tohave done the trick. Thanks for all your help and your work on this project, it is greatly appreciated by myself and the community! |

So I have noticed that some plex clients have issue playing H.264 High 10 which causes transcoding. I was wondering what quality settings in the json file to make plexcleaner reencode these files to plain H.264 without the High 10 profile.
Is there any more documentation that I can reference for the json settings file beyond what is on the main page, profiles, quality settings etc?
