logging out then creating an account bug

Here's how you can reproduce it:

1. Start with a state of being logged in and click log out.
2. Create an account.
   1. You will notice that once you input your username and password for the new account, you will go straight into the homepage
   2. And if you look at your profile page, it will show you the details of the previous user you were logged into.
3. If you click log out, you will be taken back to the onboarding of the account you just created.
