"Reset to filament color" upon prusaslicer boot

Goodday,

I would very much love to see that upon boot all filement colors (mmu or not) are reset.

This way we can use the dropdown menu with filaments (i made for every color a new filament profile with rgb codes) for choosing colors directly instead of tinkering in the color choose tool.

Or at least the option to enable this setting upon boot. Even an .bat file would help me

Now every boot i have to go to multiple extruder and five times click "reset to filament color"

My suggestion seems way more professional (like bambu studio i think) because you really see the colors like it would be printed in in real life.

Just set it up as you would like then save it as a project file. Something like Default.3mf or whatever. Then just open that project each time.

That way it remembers everything, even if you tinker with the colour choose tool.

You could use a configured shortcut too to define the file it opens with, that would in effect be your 'batch' file.

No changes needed to the current software, just to your setup.

Project files can be used as templates, so you can store all sorts of stuff in them like modifier libraries if you use a set often, or particular colour/filament combinations.

This only will not work when i let an .stl file open prusaslicer i think?

A better option is to use printer profiles and let it reset the colors. But that is another copy.
