Create open/global filament database

everyone could contribute, changes are reviewed
could be a simple .json file on github.

Better than everyone doing it manually, datasheets are hard to find.

in the web app there could be a drop down, e.g. manufacturer, product, barcode.

Would be great if android barcode reader could match an entry, look up if filament exists in this database, grab parameters, write it back to NFC, enjoy it offline.

We made that right here; https://github.com/SimplyPrint/open-filament-database/ - should be able to be implemented quite easily: the Open Filament Database is meant to hold all information from all manufacturers, to be used by all software. We use it at SimplyPrint, Spoolman has shown interest in porting their database to use the Open Filament Database, and we're already working with multiple filament manufacturers and Prusa partners.
