Has there been any historical discussion of adding support for events to zot?

Supporting events could enable several interesting use cases for zot:

• Deployment automation triggered by image updates or referrer changes
• CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing on new images
• Real-time notifications for security scanning results
  etc..

Other OCI-compliant registries have implemented event support in various ways. I would be happy to work on this if there are no architectural objections.

Initial thought was an event interface passed around with context, similar to logging. Extensions could then provide implementations for whatever event technology they prefer.
