Do more with BirthdayBuddy than basic reminders. Implement automated SMS.
Proposal Description
Basically, BirthdayBuddy is an app designed to help remind consumers(end-users) of someone's birthday, or events (This suggestion is solely for birthdays). The app does that perfectly. However, there's another thing called procrastination. I could be reminded of a friend's birthday(by the app). But I might decide not to send a birthday wish at that particular time. There's a high chance that I might forget to do that totally. This issue brings me to my suggestion; Instead of only being reminded by the app, it would be great if it can also send out SMS automatically when the event day arrives. This way, I don't have to worry about not sending a text to a celebrant on his/her day.
