Browse Folders Outside Website

I have a website that uses C:\ProductionWebSites\SOS\WFE

To prevent possible direct assess to the files - documents are stored 1 level above in C:\ProductionWebSites\SOS\ProjectDocuments.

The current component/routine isn't working well in PHP8 - but this 1 works great... but I can only get it to work in folders on or below the "Web Front End". If there a setting I can update to allow browsing, downloading and uploading files to the ProjectDocuments folder?

How about this workaround:

Set up a subdomain (like login.website.com), root it to C:\ProductionWebSites\SOS and also place the tinyfilemanager in that directory.
So when you open tinyfilemanager via that new subdomain, you would have access to both the folders /WFE and /ProjectDocuments
