Is it possible to substitute CKEdit for the internal editor?

For users who are maintaining a Web site, I'd like to open HTM/PHP/HTML/CSS files in an external editor like CKEdit, Has this been done? Is it supported?

tinyfilemanager has ace editor with 150+ language support
