Update: can ignore most of the above as i've found workarounds / solutions. |
how to solve this issue? I also got this issue. |
@cainesap I'm also having this issue, if you're able to provide insights on your fix? |
ah sorry @mstachur i meant that i found workarounds which meant i didn't need to git clone & pip install ; i didn't find a solution to the issue with an application being created even if deployment fails, if that's what's affecting you too? I had to rename the application (but that left me with a sub-optimal url) |
@cainesap thanks for sharing! I realized my deployment error is a bit different than the one you had - instead of "Not Found" I'm getting "Forbidden" - so i created a post in the Posit Community to see if others have insights: https://forum.posit.co/t/forbidden-error-deploying-python-shiny-app/200062

Hello,
I'm having some issues in deploying a Shiny for Python app (which works ok locally) to shinyapps.io, which I'll list here:
git clone
then apip install
command in my app, because I'm installing from a repository (not a package available in pypi)git clone
,pip install
commandsPlease could someone help? I can't see any running/sleeping apps on shinyapps.io which I can terminate.
thanks in advance!
