Commenting/uncommenting, adjusting indentation forward/backward over multiple lines will directly cause the program to exit

When using ctrl+/ commenting or uncommenting multiple lines of code, possibly more than ten lines, or when adjusting indentation forward or backward using tab/shift+tab, the program crashes immediately.
I currently using the latest version of Positron, with R version 4.5.1.

Thank you for reporting! I couldn't reproduce this problem with the same build of Positron on Windows. Could you provide a little more detail?

• When you say the program crashes, does the whole window close, or do you see an error message of any kind?
• Does this happen with all R scripts or only some of them? If the latter, could you share some code that makes it happen?
• Do you see this when commenting/uncommenting R only, or does it also happen when adding comments/changing indentation in other languages?

Yes, it is the entire program window crashed immediately, without any message appearing.
As for other languages, I haven’t tried much; I only found this issue when using R scripts.

I tried testing scripts in other languages; however, I couldn’t reproduce this bug today either. It’s very strange because I restarted Positron multiple times yesterday, yet it still crashed when editing multiple lines. It seems that after a full system reboot, the problem temporarily disappeared.
If the problem occurs again, I will try to record the screen and provide clearer examples.

Hi, I think I encountered this problem again. I attached the screen recording video to the main post.
And after I tested it on a Rust script and a python script, I confirmed this happen with a certain R script and non-related with other languages.
