High RAM usage - memory leak?

I've been noticing that Positron really slows down and becomes less responsive over time. After I've had a session going for a while, there is a noticeable lag between typing characters and them showing up. I often use a "command-shift-m" shortcut to insert the R pipe characters |>, and when Positron slows down, if I do "command-shift-m" and keep typing, the pipe will be show up 5 or 6 characters into my subsequent typing.

Right now, my Mac shows Positron Helper (Renderer) using 1.99GB of RAM. This is after I had reset both R and python environments and cleared the console history. The Variables, Plots, Connections, Viewer, and Console tabs are all empty.
