Install RPM with Signature on Redhat 8

Now that there is a Redhat 8 version of the RPM installer, I'm trying to install it on my workstation. I am required to install with a signature, but that is where i'm having issues. I have the "posit" key and I found the email encryption public key for positron, however, i'm unable to verify the signature after downloading the software RPM and importing the key.

Is there a published key for use with positron?

When you say you're required, is that an organizational policy or does it seem like the RPM installation is expecting to see a signature where there isn't one?

The Positron beta builds for Linux do not currently have code signatures. I've filed this to track: https://github.com/posit-dev/positron/issues/6766

As an organizational policy, we are required to have signatures when installing. In the past, I have been able to use the " --nogpgcheck " flag when installing, however, my organization has been improving our cybersecurity posture over the years and this is no longer permitted.

I certainly understand that this software is pre-release and that it may not currently have all the features it will ultimately have, but, since it's prerelease, I figured it was worth bringing the subject up since it's likely to eventually matter to more folks.

Thanks for the response! I'll probably continue to evaluate on my systems that do not have this signed code requirement while I wait for this to mature for my more secure systems.
