Something wrong with Help pane -blank

Hi @joyneuro, thank you for trying our prereleases of Positron! Can you please share more information about your setup? Which version of Positron are you using? On what operating system? What version or R? Is mice the "Multivariate Imputation by Chained Equations" package? Did it install correctly and was the library able to be loaded in R code? What command did you use to open the help topic?

I think this may be related to #3543.

Can you first update to the latest version of Positron and see if you still see this problem?

If you do, can you share some logs with us to help diagnose the issue? Check out:

I encountered the same issue. Both my R and Positron are the latest versions, but the Help pane is still blank:

When I select previously searched help content, it prompts:
Error occurred while trying to proxy: 127.0.0.1:8694/library/ggplot2/html/ggplot.html

By the way, the help content displays correctly when I hover my mouse over the function name:

Hey, Julia,
I just turned off my proxy V2ray and restarted Positron, and I found that the help pane became accessible.
Then I added localhost and 127.0.0.1 to the "direct" rules, enabled the proxy, and restarted Positron again, and found that the help pane continued to be accessible normally.

This was necessary to get R to start on Positron behind my compagny's proxy.
Unfortunately wasn't enough on my side to make help work with the proxy.

Are you also in the situation as described in #6694 (reply in thread), with the ports you see in the logs? i.e. the ports are all set up correctly but something on your machine is blocking with no error?
