"Open logs" button does not open logs

If R crashes (here, using the example from r-lib/rlang#1735), there's a notification with a button "Open logs" but clicking this button does nothing.

This seems like a bug either because no logs are available so the notification shouldn't be displayed, or because logs are not opened:
