hi, anyone who has come across bluetooth range was drastically reduced after update pop os I think. not sure if it's hardware or software related, using lenovo thinkpad L14

this has nothing to do with the headset or hardware since I have a Windows 10 partition on the same PC and I have 5-7 meters of range on it with pop os I don't have more than 1 meter.

so there must be something with the pop os bluetooth driver. this also worked well with pop os. I think there has been an update that caused this error

Worked for the time being with new Bluetooth pairing.
