'cargo install beancount-language-server' fails with undefined symbol linker error

On a x86_64 MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.6.4

• Installed rust with rustup

• Trying to install beancount-language-server fails with undefined symbol error

To reuse those artifacts with a future compilation, set the environment variable `CARGO_TARGET_DIR` to that path.

Any pointers on what could be wrong?

Same issue observed on Ubuntu 22.04 and Cargo 1.76.0

Installing the previous version works fine:

cargo install --version 1.3.3  beancount-language-server

think I have it fixed locally, should be pushing tree-sitter-beancount release to fix it soon

cargo install beancount-language-server

works for me now, closing (reopen if you experience further issues)
