Comments/Trackbacks meta boxes remain after removing support under Advanced Supports submitted via Slack by jimtrue

Can confirm. After adding 'Comments' to Supports under Advanced Options, the Discussion Meta box and Comments are visible and work on the post; after 'uncheck'ing 'Comments' in Supports, they remain, but they won't allow me to enter a Comment.

Discussion and Comments Meta boxes are even visible, too, when they've been unchecked in Advanced Options > Supports at the time of CPT definition. That is, no Comments or Trackbacks e.t.c. have ever been added to any object of the CPT.
