Hello, brand new user here. I understand that PnP.PowerShell 1.8.0 is quite an old version. I also understand that PnP.PowerShell 3.x and PowerShell 7 are the way to go. However, we still have fairly simple scripts that run on PnP.PowerShell 1.8.0 and Windows PowerShell 5.1. I see that Windows PowerShell 5.1 will be supported by Microsoft for however long the underlying OS it's installed in is supported. But I need clarity on this community's support for PnP.PowerShell 1.8.0.
As I've mentioned, our scripts are fairly simple and we've not had any issues with them for over a year now. The scripts just add users to SharePoint groups and update SharePoint lists. We are not looking to update our scripts at all. But in the off chance that they suddenly stop working, is this community going to be able offer suggestions/recommendations/etc.? Or should I just totally abandon our existing solution and jump onto PnP.PowerShell 3.x and PowerShell 7?
Thank you.
