Guide to troubleshooting, debugging and tracing

Hi, I am primarily a user of PnP.Powershell rather than a dev in this project, but of course I develop my own code using these great cmdlets. I have hacked a bit of code, and come back to it to find issues. I know that I'm noob enough to not need to raise a GitHub issue, it's most likely to be 'user error'.

I am trying to find some documentation that can guide me to troubleshooting, debugging and tracing what is going on with this Module. I have looked in the readme, documentation folder, and Articles (and wiki) but nothing springs to sight.

By trawling through issues I have started to get a feel of some of the techniques one could use, but are they gathered together in a page, a sticky somewhere in this forum, or where?

If they don't exist yet, where would be the best place to begin collating them? I think I'm still at too noddy a level to craft an article, but somewhere where people can find and add to it seems best. Any suggestions or pointers?
