When installing the latest version of the PnP.Powershell framework via the 'install-module' command in PowerShell, it seems like the downloaded package is incomplete and and the 'Framework' folder is missing. Also the whole 'PnP.PowerShell' folder of version 2.1.1 is only approx. half the size of the the version 1.12.0 folder.
