Roles not assigned properly when using connect-pnponline using managed identity

when running connect-pnponline in powershell 7.2 , the access token roles dont work properly

$connection = Connect-pnponline -managedidentity -url "https://test-admin.sharepoint.com" -returnconnection;

Get-PnPGraphAccessToken -Decoded

Many times, it blank and some roles are missing.

i can confirm that permissions are added properly and its more than 24 hours. everytime i connect to pnp online using managed identity, many times one or other role is missing
