ProfileAccessDeniedException Updating Microsoft365 group photo using set-pnpmicrosoft365Group

If I update a M365 group image with ClientID authentication I get named exception. The principal has Site.ReadWrite.All and Group.ReadWrite.All API permissions. When I do the same with user authentication (Global admin) it works.
