Connect-PNP-Online not able to connect when IE is blocked

Beginning mid-January, 2023, access to SharePoint Online and OneDrive from Internet Explorer 11 and Edge IE compatibility mode will be hard blocked for all users. More and more customers are blocking IE on their ADFS Authentication.

Connect-PNP-Online with -Interactive or -UseWebLogin uses IE for Authentication. This means, in some cases, PNP Scripts will not be able to authenticate anymore. The authentication process gets canceled with the error "Browser not supported". This worked in december 2022.

Is there another way to Connect to SharePoint Online with MFA enabled - without getting blocked 'cause of IE Login?
