Possible to change who can associate with a hub site after Register-PnpHubSite is run?

I'm aware that when registering a new site as a hub via Register-PnpHubSite, one must specify the -Principals switch to ensure the site is not the drop down for all to select when choosing a hub.

Question, is there a way to edit this -Principals field using a different PnP cmdlet or is the only option to unregister and re-register (which appears to introduce issues).
