PnP.Powershell in VSCode - Constant issues related to PSE

Hi All

I've started running in to a lot of issues recently while using VSCode and Powershell 7.2 for most cmdlets. Normally the error presented from the cmdlet is

Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Identity.Client, Version=4.36.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=0a613f4dd989e8ae'. Could not find or load a specific file. (0x80131621)

I went through the VSCode Powershell Extension on github and found a response Scripts using PNP.PowerShell do not work in VSCode #3510 where they have effectively said that after 4 months of the ticket being open it will probably never be resolved (Although it is then suggested to only use Core, which doesn't seem to make a difference for me).

I can run everything from the terminal so i know it is directly related to the VSCode PSE, just wondering what other ISE people have been using as having VSCode be so temperamental is causing me a lot of headaches.
