m365 command not recognized after install

I have attempted to install m365-cli using the npm method. I make sure I use the global flag. It appears to install successfully, but at any command prompt, when I use the m365 command, I get the error 'm365' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. This happens at a CMD prompt or a powershell prompt. What am I doing wrong? I'm running Windows 10 and Windows Terminal v 1.7.1033.0

If you run the npm list -g --depth 0 does it list @pnp/cli-microsoft365@3.9.0 as part of one of the global packages?

Yes - that is why this is so frustrating!

Is your node bin folder in your system path?

My node executable in in the path 'c:\Program Files\nodejs'. There is no bin folder. I found that the cli installed in the "c:\users[useraccount]\AppData\Roaming\npm\node_modules" folder which is where a lot of other commands are located (web pack, prisma, tsc, jshint ...). I really don't know why those commands work but m365 doesn't.

Do you have a c:\users[useraccount]\AppData\Roaming\npm\bin folder? How did you install Node?

I had the same issue. Simply added "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\npm" to the path variable, reloaded my terminal and all good.
