Minimap Multiple Viewports Issue - react-three-fiber & Drei

Hi all,

I have no idea what the issue is with this example, but I can't get the minimap viewport camera to be assigned to the second camera. It seems to always default to the canvas default camera. Any help/guidance would be appreciated (and would save a few hairs on my head!)...

the views are just regular divs, if you resize them with whatever library or code everything will be correctly scaled inside.

@drcmda I would like to resize the objects in the views without using transform controls but by using pointer events. So is there any way to add pointer events to resize the objects in the views and this in turn should change the dimensions of objects in the main scene

sure. you have pointer events, onPointerDown, Move, Up + pointer capture. with that you can do anything. the demo i posted already uses shared matrices, the matrix contains position, rotation, scale.

thank you very much for your response. In the example, there is a group of mesh, and if we edit from any one of the views, it will get edited in all the views. But is there any way that we can only edit them through the subviews but not through the main view?
I mean that the user should be able to edit from the subviews only but the changes should be visible in all the views as it's using the same scene.

1. So can we add events to only the sub-views separately?
2. And also the events should be applicable to each object separately, but not the whole group.

i am unable to use the matrices in different jsx files, so can you say how can we do it in multiple files? And also, i am creating objects dynamically at different positions in the canvas, but due to the matrix autoupdate as false, objects are getting displayed at origin only because of ideal matrix
