centering a potentially large and narrow screen

I am trying to show the user a centered view of the scene or start at the begining from the top as shown below. I am wondering if using <Center> is the best way to go about this or there is a better way.

I am using an orthographic camera to display my scene. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
