Why "total" property of ProgressEvent is always zero?

Hi, i use @react-three/fiber@^8.8.10 and useLoader with GLTFLoader hook like this:

const gltf = useLoader(GLTFLoader, titleSrc, undefined, event => {
  console.log(event.total);
});

and in console there is only zero logged several times.

i use Firefox on macos.
