Shifts of the Beveridge curve

Here are some resources related to the Beveridge curve and its shifts:

• Figure 2 and especially figure 10 in this paper on full employment in the US show that the US Beveridge curve shifts every decade or so, and that it shifted sharply after the pandemic. We do not really know why.
• This GitHub repository contains all the data and code to produce the Beveridge curves in figures 2 and 10 in the full-employment paper.
• This paper on efficient unemployment in the US contains theoretical background on the Beveridge curve and proposes an algorithm to estimate the shifts of the Beveridge curve.
