Change date of an anniversary item

Hello,

I'd like to use Anniversary to track periodical changes of certain things (air filter, water filter, ...). It is perfect for now, I have create 2 items, one with the date the water filter was changes, and set "count up", so I can display the number of days, the filter is in use.

But on the interface I'd like to add a button "filter changed" that would reset the items date to "now()" by calling a script.

Is such a script currently feasible?
Does it need some updates to the anniversary component ?
