Count up not working - or not as expected

I want to see the number of days since.....

I am/was under the impression that I would see the number of days since 2020-01-01 but I get only the number of days since 01-01. The year isn't taking into account.

I am doing something wrong?

I have a similar issue - days since 4/21/2021 (created as a one-time event) is only showing 331 days. Should be 1,427 days (as of 3/18/2025).

Wondering what I'm doing wrong here? Other dates (countdowns and count-ups) are working correctly.
