How to change background color and Primary text color?

Dear all,

Is there a way to change the primary/secondary text color and the background color of a card?
I am trying some stuff, but cant figure out how to change these kind of things.

I would make my dashboard way more flexible in the way it looks.

Also in the secondary text of a template, there is a code {{user}. Is there a list of these kind of codes you can use?

I hope someone can help me out here.
