Garmin CAN set Activity from FIT file, sorta.

I could be extremely late to the party with something you already knew, but I have had success influencing the title of the Garmin activity through content in the FIT file. If you already knew, then never mind with my apologies. The trailing SESSION record, using a gblID 110 string field is used as the so-called 'device activity name' cited as an option in the GC GUI user display preferences for Activity Name. GC still insists on prepending location. I've moved on from my use of a Peloton to being a Zwift user, and I'm back to getting a similar download/upload integration to Garmin working. From the observables, it seems ZWIFT's interface with Garmin for upload employs API functions that can completely revise the Garmin activity name, which is a totally different observation from my FIT file finding. [Zwift uploaded activities start with 'Zwift - ' and then the name of the course ridden.]
