P2G Version 2 - Official Release

After roughly 6 months of both development and exclusively running V2 on my system, I am officially releasing V2 into the wild!

For the latest information about V2, including migration instructions, head on over to the wiki.

V2 is a major release which means it has breaking changes, most notably, your V1 config file will not work with V2

Some housekeeping notes:

V1

I will not be adding any new features to V1 however I will attempt to fix any major breaking bugs that come up.

V2

V2 does not interfere with V1, so you can choose to setup V2 in a new folder and always switch back to V1 if you run into any issues.

Hello, first off thanks so much for this project and it seems like the new version with FIT files is going to be really great. I've tried v2 twice now and I'm getting an error on upload to Garmin. I can manually upload (like i was doing before when Garmin uploads were broken) fine, and can also manually upload with the FIT output. This is part of the log and I can post the full log if necessary.

Sorry, I should have specified. I am using the windows exe. I think I followed the migration directions, but I could have done something wrong.

Cool, let me get a bit more info from you.

1. Change this value in your config to be "Debug"
2. Run the script again and share the full log here. You can save it as a file and upload that.
3. Could you also upload a copy of your configuration.local.json file? Please be sure to remove your credentials before upload.

I'll try to dig in after work today and see what's going on.

Thank you! I found the issue in how the exe was being created. You can download the latest (fixed) version here. Note, I still can't authenticate with Garmin so in my testing I was only able to verify that it atleast attempted to upload to Garmin, then for me it fails to authenticate due to the ongoing auth problems.

I've removed any exclusions from upload from the config file, but I'm unable to upload meditation classes from Peloton to Garmin. It looks like it is actually failing on the fit writing process.
