Wondering why type Sequence members are unexported

I don't know why the members of type Sequence are not exported
also there is no method to get floats slice ?
because appendAllPoints is not exported !

Hi @Raxel01, the reason that the floats field of the Sequence type is not exported is because Sequence is an immutable type. If the user were able to access the raw floats, then they could change them, breaking immutability.

It could be reasonable to unexport the appendAllPoints and appendPoint methods. Before doing that though, are you able to share why the GetXY (or Get) method doesn't give you the data you need, or is hard to use?

I started using this package two weeks ago—maybe I missed these two methods.
It's hard to use the package because there are a lot of features,
so I decided to read the source code. it take time...
is there any docs or resources where I can learn more about this package ?

Yes, the API has a very large surface area, which can make it difficult to digest, especially for developers new to the GIS space.

RTree is implemented in a sibling package, but in the same module (i.e. github.com/peterstace/simplefeatures/rtree). It's documentation is here.
