Hi @petergridge
I saw the entity name of program are names frequency_1, frequency_2,....
This for all type of entity...
Is it possible to rename these entity for more clarification and using in automation ?
I suggest entity name take the name of program and zone as for example : frequency_program1_zone1
Is it possible ?

Hi I have been investigating this. And while it is possible I lose the ability to apply the translations, and the name appearing in the Card is be generated long name. I prefer the concise visuals 😄

I did investigate this naming convention for the entity id but there is no guarantee that the entities are named uniquely by end users.

There is the attribution attribute that has additional information to allow you to determine the Program & zone that an object is related to.

At this time it would be easier to rename the switch/sensor manually, these persist when restarting HA.
