Hey @Laurens-makel, thank you for reaching out.

We are currently considering to upgrade the default OPA version that comes inside OPAL Client.

OPAL Client is already fully compatible with OPA v1, when used externally or inside a custom built OPAL Client image. OPAL with OPA v1 is deployed in production for few customers, as well as in Permit.

Backward compatability is in our top priority, so we are putting together a migration plan to ensure a smooth transition for everyone.
