Is there any way to connect new Pebble watch to mobile app?

Became curious on will it be able to be connected from mobile app like old pebbles did.

(I know that new watches are not released yet. Just asking)

The core watches will get a new app for your phone.
The core watches will however not work with the old pebble app.

Is that true though according to ericmigi it's the app Cobble that will be with the new Core Devices.

And he link to https://github.com/pebble-dev/mobile-app so I assume both Rebble and Core watches will use the same app.

Cobble is Rebble's replacement mobile app project. Core Devices is working on their own closed source app, supporting their new watches and old Pebble watches. Core's app builds on some of the work done for Cobble, but cobble will not be the app they release.

Ah okey. Being closed source sucks a lot though. I wouldn't trust a closed source app with my notifications, sort of main point of the watch. I hope they release it under an open source license once it's available. This sort of killed my excitement for the new watches. Dammit.
