Description
Dear Author
Why the gamma value of many species is 0.9? I have done dsuite, phytop, dfoil and snaq analyses, among which dsuite and phytop found that introgression is very low (D<0.1, Fb<0.016, p<0.05 or IH< 1% ),. The difference is that Dfoil detects strong introgression signals among species across groups. Therefore, in order to verify whether the strong ancestral gene flow in the dfoil results is true, we used your HYDE for further analysis. HYDE also showed a large gamma value, but according to the literature, what I understand is that the closer the value is to 0.5, the higher the degree of hybridization? So how should we understand the maximum value of 0.9, which means that two species are actually one species? (But we have confirmed their species independence, such as the extremely large fst and DXY). Your article says that Hyde has considered ILS and Hybrid. How to distinguish which results are ILS and which results are Hybrid?
