Can't change subscription name from 'default'

I am using the checkout method in my user controller to create a redirect to Stripe's hosted checkout page with the following:

I have tried a couple different ways to override Pay's 'default' name in the pay_subscriptions field, but neither approaches work. Can you let me know what I might be doing wrong?

You need to set the metadata on the subscription.

Thank you, yes I tried that initially and the 'name' field in pay_subscriptions is still 'default':

Have you confirmed the metadata is set in Stripe?

Also I should ask what version of Pay you're on. Maybe it's a version before we added that feature?

Yes, I see the pay_name under the Metadata section within the Stripe dashboard. I'm using pay gem version 3.0.24
