cant import data

please i have been trying to import data but i keep getting error message.
could not create table to import to:attempt to write a readonly database.
how do i fix this issue,just started using SQL newly.

Well, the message is rather clear - your database is read-only. You probably created it in location in which you do not have permissions to write to.
