Accessories that can be put in any slot can be equipped to exclusive slots

I can equip, for example, one of the many "any slot" accessories from bountiful baubles reforged into a shulker box slot and the mod will threat it as a shulker box. I can even store items inside an eye.

I feel like mods shouldn't register accessories that can be equipped in any slot as this could be an issue with any mod which adds custom slot behavior, but I can add some checks on my side to try and avoid the issue...

Is there no way to make an accessory slot only equipable by accessories that explicitly allow that slot? I saw the "Can be equipped on any slot except" text and tought that there's a way to add exceptions to that.
