Sorry for your troubles, but I don't think there is a way to recover this data rather than restoring from Time Machine backup (or something similar). I will investigate what could possibly go wrong with Notes.app copies. |

I just lost nearly 100 important clipboard items and I’m hoping someone might know a way to recover them.
I was using the Notes app on my Mac and had cut (not copied) multiple pieces of text, one by one, planning to paste them elsewhere. I rely on Maccy for clipboard history, but it suddenly started acting weird, it vanished from the menu bar. I restarted the app, but the issue persisted. After each paste, the clipboard history would disappear again.
Then a dialog box appeared asking for an update. I went ahead and updated Maccy, but after the update, all the recent clipboard data I had cut was gone. It’s now showing only older entries, and none of the critical recent cuts are there.
I’m not using Mac OS Tahoe. This is on macOS Sequoia 15.5.
Is there any way I can retrieve the lost clipboard history or recover the cut data? I’d really appreciate any advice.
