Feature suggestion: Pinned items with simple variables (such as "current date")

I'm looking for a simple way to paste the current date. My idea would be to have a small set of simple variables (or maybe just a drop-down that can select some pre-defined strings), and one of them would insert the current date instead of a static text, e.g. for today, it would insert 2025-04-22. If two formats were possible, I would also suggest a short format that would insert 250422.
