Inquiry Regarding Server-Side Querying Capabilities of the Tool

This tool looks fantastic! I was wondering if you could clarify whether it supports server-side functionalities?

Specifically, I need to verify if queries can be executed directly on the server side. This is crucial for my use case, as I intend to connect it to a pre-configured MySQL database within a Docker container. If this feature is supported, I am considering using this tool as a replacement for phpMyAdmin.

You can try command line

npx @outerbase/studio mysql://username:password@localhost:3306/chinook

This will expose the interface at port 4000 which you can access. You can think it is similar to phpMyAdmin

Thank you! That's exactly what we need!

However, there are two issues:

1. The web UI only works on localhost. There is an error in the browser console:

crypto.randomUUID is not a function

(I'm not sure whether enabling HTTPS would fix this error. Unfortunately, HTTP + remoting is a must for my use case.)

2. The server fails to start in a detached Docker container:

I can work around this by attaching a TTY to the container. However, it would be a reasonable improvement if it worked by default.

Thanks. I will do polyfill for radnomUUID then it work for HTTP. I will try to do this in weekend.

By default, the command line use https://studio.outerbase.com as the GUI and it also create neccessary API to communicate with the studio. Are you plan to also self-host studio?

Exactly! I plan to self-host the studio, but I haven't started looking into how to do it yet. It would be great if there were some instructions available.
I also noticed that the sutdio uses some external resources like Google Fonts. It would be perfect if we can make it work in a LAN environment without requiring internet access.

Just to let you know, I'm self-hosting outerbase/studio (v0.9.2), and I didn't encounter the crypto.randomUUID is not a function error. I guess v0.9.2 is somehow different from the version on https://studio.outerbase.com/.
