Recent problematic PRs #10828

I guess - @meyerk1456, please consider this a warning. If you keep it up, I'm going to ban you. We don't really have the resources to clean up after a tsunami of PRs that add things that don't belong in NSI, being not notable enough or not tagged correctly to be offered as presets in OpenStreetMap. Please read the project wiki at https://github.com/osmlab/name-suggestion-index/wiki to learn more about why this project exists, and how to contribute better to it. I talked a bit about stuff on #10757, unfortunately I personally don't have a lot of time to dedicate to this project, so I think the best way to triage issues is to just decide quickly and close things that we don't have time to research. |

I apologize for the recent PRs that came across as rushed or not fully vetted. My intent was to improve NSI, but I recognize that I need to be more thorough in checking for duplicates, correct tagging, and accurate Wikidata QIDs. I appreciate your feedback and will take more care in future contributions to ensure they align with project guidelines. Thanks for your patience, and understanding. |

We've been bombarded in recent days by PRs from @meyerk1456 that appear to be hasty rush jobs. The user doesn't respond to feedback (#10797, #10812), check to see if a brand is already in the NSI under a different category (#10797, #10823), or consider whether a suggested Wikidata QID truly matches the brand targeted by the PR (#10807). @bhousel, the PRs seem to be made in good faith, but at what point does the spammy, sometimes ill-advised nature of the PRs outweigh the benefits?
