Brands that don't serve vegetarian options in some regions

When a brand makes it very clear they don't serve vegetarian options in some regions, would it be helpful to add diet:vegetarian=no to the index?

For example, McDonald's in Australia makes it very clear in their FAQ they don't have vegetarian or vegan options. However in the UK, they have an extensive vegan menu.

This is kind of the reason why we've held off on adding things like payment: or diet: tags to the index - different regions have different local conventions.

We could add a bunch of regionally-scoped McDonaldses, but that would be a lot of work, and then imagine that for every brand in the world, and imagine that menus change all the time - we just don't have the manpower to maintain that and it would expand the scope of NSI beyond what we're comfortable maintaining (we're already maybe a bit overstretched).

If we can get them all tagged with a consistent brand:wikidata value - which is really the main goal of NSI - someone who cares enough could use Overpass and JOSM to find all the McDonaldses in the region that they care about and change the local tags quickly.

NSI aims to make finding things in OSM possible. Before we started adding brand:wikidata to our presets suggestions, anyone who wanted to find all the McDonaldses in OSM needed to do fuzzy searching on name or brand tags, and these are wildly inconsistent. (This project could almost be renamed wikidata-suggestion-index at this point)
