Named location is never used

The documentation currently mentions the named location @php but it's not used as a redirection target anywhere?

This documentation is completely outdated. The forwarding isn't working completely at nominatim.openstreetmpa.org right now. Really need to fix that before updating the documentation.

That was also my impression. I'm currently running Nominatim with a pretty barebone nginx config and I'm quite pleased with it:

Nominatim v5 is probably a good point at which to remove some outdated cruft and workarounds from the official documentation. It may still be needed for https://nominatim.openstreetmap.org, but the entire URL rewriting stuff is difficult to understand.
