[community building] 2021 evaluation and reporting #8

@emmyft

Description

@emmyft

What is the idea?:
Develop a community report and use this opportunity to reflect on our work as a community, and to use our learnings to identity new plans and things to try in 2022 and beyond

Why: (Why would you like to pursue this idea?)
We've had a fruitful year here at the Open Science Community Delft! Our community has grown, and there's a lot we have learnt. Before the end of the year, we hope to document these learnings and share them with the community and with the publicly. We should reflect on our work, collect feedback, assimilate and build towards a new strategy/roadmap for 2022 and beyond.

Proposed plan

  • Identify ways to evaluate community activities and document learning
  • Collect the necessary data, both quantitative and qualitative
  • Write + produce the report, including suggestions/recommendations for the new year
  • Share and communicate the report
  • Identify key follow-ups/pilots for 2022

What are the benefits for other members to contribute to the idea/participate?
Benefit: contribute to shaping the open science community - our activities, narratives, and visions!

  • Do you know of ways to evaluate community activities/document learning?
  • Ideas for activities to collect feedback most in the community?

Please share any useful resources and information by commenting on this issue!

We'd need more hands definitely, once we have more ideas of what these community activities could be!
